Reports state that RUSSIA shot down one of its own Su-34 planes, worth $36 million, over eastern Ukraine.
On the eighth anniversary of the downing of flight MH-17 by Kremlin-armed rebels, Putin’s forces suffered a fresh humiliation.

The Sukhoi Su-34, a medium-range fighter-bomber, was apparently shot down on Sunday close to Alchecvsk in the Luhansk region, which is held by separatist fighters with support from the Kremlin.
On the Telegram messaging service, several videos of the wreckage were posted at first with the assertion that a Ukrainian aircraft had been lost.
Another by Yevgeny Poddubny, a Russian war correspondent, praised what appeared to be a plane going down in flames and a massive explosion that followed.
He said it depicts the air defences of the Russian/Luhansk People’s Republic obliterating a target over Alchevsk.
