The court adjourned further hearing of the case till September 13.
On May 12, the IHC had ordered the authorities not to register FIRs against PTI members in the Masjid-e-Nabwi incident.
Justice Athar Minallah had condemned the use of religion for political gains and urged the government to look into the matter.
The case was heard against the FIRs on request of PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry who had said that religion was used by different groups in the past but this was the first time that the government itself was playing the religion card.
The court had remarked that the incident that took place in Madinah was immoral and the political use of religion was blasphemy.
The PTI petitioner had maintained that their stance was clear in this regard and underscored that PTI leader Qasim Suri was attacked during Ramadan over the issue.
The court had adjourned the hearing for two weeks while ordering the police not to register FIRs against PTI members in the case.
Notably, a case was lodged against 150 PTI members including PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Shahbaz Gill, Sheikh Rashid and others at a Faisalabad police station, pertaining to raising slogans against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation at Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAWW) in Saudi Arabia.
According to the FIR, 150 people led by Sheikh Rashid Shafiq were sent to Saudi Arabia to conduct preplanned hooliganism. The lawsuit alleges that the incident took place under a premeditated conspiracy.
