With the financial crisis worsening by the day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s PML-N-led coalition government raised petrol prices by around Rs100 per litre.

The government announced a petrol price increase of Rs14.85 per litre on Thursday, the fourth in the last 35 days, bringing the total amount of hikes since May 26 to nearly Rs100.
Pakistani celebrities have also reacted to the recent increase in petrol prices on social media. Needless to say, the general public and celebrities are dissatisfied with the country’s rising inflation. Feroze Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, and others expressed their dissatisfaction with the recent development.
