S CLUB beauty Rachel Stevens has disclosed that she and her spouse of more than ten years, Alex Bourne, have separated.

Childhood sweethearts who married in 2009 and have two kids, Amelie, 11, and Minnie, 8, together.

The stunning information was disclosed tonight on Instagram by Rachel, 44, who insisted that their family will remain “together.”

“I just wanted to share with you all that after much thought and deliberation, Alex and I have decided to separate,” she wrote.

Although we are no longer married, we will continue to love and respect each other as partners in raising our two lovely girls.

“I am so profoundly grateful for the life we established together,” she said in her closing statement. “I will now continue to be focused on moving forward as a family.”

In 1999, Rachel gained notoriety as a member of the pop group S Club 7. She then became a prominent pin-up girl during the lads mag era.

She later appeared on Dancing on Ice and finished second with Vincent Simone.

She got engaged to Holby and Hollyoaks actor Jeremy Edwards, 51, in 2002, but the couple broke up two years later.

At 44 years old, Rachel recently declared that she would love to relive her magazine photo days.

She said to The Sun: “Yes, why not? I’d do another bikini shoot.

“I loved working on those photo assignments because it gave me a chance to express myself in a way that was different from what I did for Top Of The Pops, Smash Hits, and all the other magazines the band did.

“I adore picture shootings and think they’re very artistic. I enjoy contributing to the visual design of the photographs.
