  • Divyanka came and gave the contestants some relationship advice.
  • Divyanka and Vivek, are known for their fairytale love story.

Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and her husband, Pavitra Rishta 2 star, Vivek Dahiya, are known for their fairytale love story.

Of course, just like any healthy relationship, they had to put in effort to maintain theirs. On the reality show Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti, Divyanka shared her insights on how to strengthen a relationship despite setbacks.

Divyanka appeared on the show as Mika’s sister and offered relationship advice to the contestants. A contestant asked for advice on how to deal with possessive tendencies, and she shared her own experiences in the relationship.

“Agar Vivek ghar nahi aaye waqt par wapas, toh mujhe tension honey lagti hai. Boys ke saath party pe gaye hain, toh mujhe tension hone lagti ki, ‘Bola tha 12 ka, 1 baj gaya, 1:30 baj gaya.’ Toh main fir har 15 minute mein phone kar rahi hoti thi: ‘Aap theek toh ho?’ Toh aisa do baar hua, teen baar hua. Mere hisaab se toh main care kar rahi thi kyunki mujhe chinta ho rahi thi. Par pata hai Vivek ne aake kya poocha? ‘Tumhe mujh pe shaq hai kya?’ I was like, ‘Nahi!’ ‘Toh tum baar-baar kyun phone karti ho?’ Maine kaha, ‘Arrey mujhe tension ho rahi hoti hai.’ Ismein important baat kya hai yaad rakhne ki? Ki humne conversation kiya. (If Vivek wouldn’t come home on time, I would get stressed. If he was partying with the boys, I’d get worried that ‘He’d said he’d be back by 12, but it’s 1, 1:30.’ So I would call him every 15 minutes: ‘Are you okay?’ This happened twice, thrice. In my head, I cared about him and was worried. But you know what Vivek asked me when he came back? ‘Do you not trust me?’ I was like, ‘No!’ ‘So why do you call me so much?’ I said, ‘I was worried about you.’ What is the important thing here? That we had a conversation).” She adeed.

In a relationship, we often do things out of love that can be frustrating for our partners. Be it calling too often because you’re worried, like Divyanka was, or being very protective of a partner to the point of not giving them their freedom. This kind of behaviour, even when motivated by good intentions, can cause friction in a partnership.
