A major witness in Johnny Depp’s upcoming trial is allegedly getting ready to give a shocking testimony in court, which could go in the actor’s favour.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, who recently prevailed in a significant defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, is facing an assault charge after site manager Gregg “Rocky” Brooks claimed that Depp punched him in the ribs while they were filming City of Lies in 2018.

Officer John Bigrigg, a retired 35-year member of the Los Angeles Police Department and a former Green Beret, has made his allegations, according to Radar Online.

A tape of Bigrigg, who was employed by the L.A. Film Unit at the time of the alleged attack, was made available by the outlet.

“When I arrived at the scene of the disturbance, it had already ended. On the recording, he is heard saying, “Neither of the fighters showed any signs of wear, complained of wounds, or said they wanted to file charges.

Brook’s assertions in the court records are in conflict with Officer Bigrigg’s memory of the incident.

He said that he told Depp that they were filming the movie after the expiration of their authorization, which is when the alleged confrontation began.
