ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday restored Dr Qibla Ayaz on his slot as a member of the Board of Governors of the International Islamic University, reported BOL News.

As per details, a notification has been issued in this regard and the court remarked that the University administration has no authority to remove a member of the board of governors from the office.

The court adjourned a further hearing of the case till July 7 next.

The administration of the university issued the orders of the removal of Qibal Ayaz that were suspended by IHC. Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq issued notices to the parties in the case and sought answers from them.
