Inside a massive, nuclear-powered flying hotel that can transport 5,000 people around the globe for YEARS

A MASSIVE, nuclear-powered “flying hotel” featuring a gym and a pool is planned to transport 5,000 passengers in the height of luxury.

A new CGI film explains how the AI-driven Sky Cruise intends to stay in the air for extended periods of time while also landing to pick up or drop off people.

The nuclear fusion-powered 20-engine future aircraft/hotel hybrid is never intended to touch down.

The nuclear-powered sky cruise, according to Hashem Alghaili, who built the remarkably accurate model of the monstrous aeroplane, “may represent the future of transportation.”

Alghaili even adds that running repairs would be completed in-flight, a first in aviation. The system is designed to run continuously.

And in response to the question of how many people would be required to operate this enormous aircraft, he said: “All this technology and you still want pilots?

“I think it’ll be completely independent,”

The Sky Cruise will still need enough of employees on board to be available at every passenger’s beck and call despite promises for a man-free voyage.

The extremely detailed movie further claims that there would be restaurants, a huge mall, a gym, a theatre, and even a swimming pool in the sky.

If you’re courageous enough, the promotional video also suggests that the human-occupied UFO might make an ideal wedding location.

And the Sky Cruise has a panoramic hall that provides breathtaking 360-degree views of the outside, so it would be ideal.

However, not everyone agrees with the concept, despite the excellence promised.

The Sky Cruise idea has been dubbed the “new Titanic” by some, who point out a host of design flaws.

The enormous aircraft would have difficulty taking off and would not be aerodynamic. Others also criticised its weight, claiming that a nuclear-powered aircraft’s failure could completely destroy a city.

It’s a great idea to install a nuclear reactor in something that could malfunction and crash to the ground, one anxious passenger remarked.

One person said, “I’m sure I could afford a ticket for the lowest deck with no leg room and no access to the lounge,” while another said, “I’m sure I could afford that.”

And still another said: “I don’t like the idea of those elevators being exposed. Also, a word about those uneven drags. Your animation never bothered to lift the landing gear, the engines are suspiciously like jet engines, and fusion reaction is employed as a magical source of energy in the future.”

Another issue is the enormous development cost. While this is an intriguing concept and it is feasible to build it with present technology, some anticipated that a journey like this would be extremely expensive, saying: “This device would be super expensive and no doubt only rich would be able to afford it.”

However, some people want to be the first to board.

Someone remarked: “Hilarious! It’s as if someone came back in time to 2070 and saw a retrofuturism film that was set in our time period rather than the 1950s or the 1800s and showed what people thought the future would look like.”

And another said: “The innovation behind the idea is excellent and I hope the planners get someplace someday.” I would much rather like a nuclear airship because the room available would be much more.

Although many people have high expectations for the enormous hotel, the Sky Cruise is still many years away.

There are some things that will never change, even if an aeroplane similar to this is developed in the future.

I bet I still find up sitting next to someone else’s yelling three-year-old for the whole of the journey, as one user observed.

Another wryly observed, “If physics and aerodynamics did not exist, then this craft could actually be able to take off.”

However, they shouldn’t worry too much about their worries.
