ISLAMABAD: PML-N senior leader and former finance minister Ishaq Dar is expected to return to Pakistan next month in July, Bol News reported.
According to well-informed sources, Dar is likely to visit Pakistan in the second week of July. Dar has been given the go-head by PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, who is also self-exiled in London.
Dar will first take oath as a Senator after which he will take charge of the adverse economic challenges being faced by the country.
In January, Dar was reinstated to the Senate by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). In 2018, the ECP withdrew a notification of Ishaq Dar’s election as a senator.

The former finance minister has been out of the country since October 2017 on account of his medical treatment. He has since been declared a proclaimed offender in a corruption case filed against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
It must be mentioned that the coalition government has already issued a passport for Ishaq Dar to enable him travel freely and return back.
The PML-N leader will apply for pre-arrest bail before returning. He is also expected to assume charge of the Finance Ministry as incumbent Miftah Ismail cannot continue for more than six months.
