A temporary warehouse worker in a Chicago suburb prosecuted

  • Charles McKnight allegedly opened fire in a WeatherTech warehouse in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
  • Allegedly robbed two coworkers at gunpoint while robbing them of a watch and wallet.
  • Shot three of his employees when they questioned him about the robberies.

After reportedly shooting three employees on Saturday morning, a temporary warehouse worker in a facility outside of Chicago is now facing charges.

According to the Bolingbrook Police Department, Chicago resident Charles McKnight allegedly opened fire in a WeatherTech warehouse in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

This incident occurred on Saturday morning after allegedly robbing two coworkers at gunpoint.

At 6:25 a.m., McKnight exited the warehouse, and police however sent to the location.

Police however informed by the coworkers that McKnight was working the overnight shift. He allegedly at that time,  held two coworkers at gunpoint while robbing them of a watch and wallet.

McKnight however accused of shooting three of his employees when they questioned him about the robberies. One of them later declared dead in the hospital.

The police claim that as of June 9, McKnight however working for a temporary employment agency. His previous assignment was at WeatherTech.

First-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder are the charges against him.

According to the report, a 25-year-old male said to be in critical condition after the shooting. Also, a 43-year-old guy received treatment at a nearby hospital and was later released.

In the shooting, Central Hightower, 37, passed away.
