LAHORE: The local administration has provided security to former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Lahore on Sunday, Bol news channel reported.
Four vehicles of the Elite Force will provide security to Imran Khan, while a jammer vehicle, a fire tender and a Rescue 1122 vehicle would accompany his convoy.
The administration would provide extra security to the former PM on locations of his party convention.
A traffic police pilot will lead convoy of the PTI chief.

It is pertinent here to mention that the PTI had sought security from the Lahore CCPO a day ago.
On June 25, the PTI had requested security for Khan during his Lahore visit for election campaigning.
The PTI had written a letter to the Lahore CCPO seeking security for Imran Khan from 4 pm to 10 pm during his visit to the provincial capital on Sunday.
Imran Khan was schedule to address public gatherings at four places in Lahore in connection with the by-elections. He had to campaign in PP-168, PP-167, PP-170 and PP-158 constituencies in connection with the by-polls.
Imran Khan has decided to give a tough time to dissident members in the upcoming Punjab Assembly by-elections. He had directed the party leadership to mobilize party workers in the constituencies.
