The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has predicted hot and humid in most cities of the country on Sunday, BOL NEWS reported.
As per the Met Department report, hot and humid weather will prevail in Sindh, most parts of Punjab including Islamabad, most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. While southern districts will be extremely hot.
Whereas, medical experts have directed citizens to protect themselves from heat waves by consuming more water and beverages, covering their heads and avoiding leaving their homes unnecessarily during the day.

However, the Met Department said that the first spell of monsoon will enter Sindh via Tharparkar from June 30 and the regular onset of monsoon rains in Karachi is possible from July 2 or 3.
On the other hand, the weather in Karachi will remain hot and humid today with a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department added that sea breezes are still suspended in the city while the east wind is blowing at a speed of 18 km per hour.
It may be recalled that as soon as the pre-monsoon entered Karachi, the intense heat and confinement that had been going on for three days was broken.
According to the reports, four people, including three children, were killed in accidents at various places in Karachi after strong winds and heavy rains.
