She descended from the Pashtun-speaking Nawab dynasty. Ghulam Moinuddin Khanji, a Nawab of Manavadar, was her maternal grandfather.

With her talent and a keen eye for a solid script she has been in the business for a while and has undoubtedly carved out a place for herself.

Sarwat revealed that when she was younger, she suffered a severe nose injury. She used to have frequent blackouts, and during one of them, she fell onto the wash basin and broke her nose.

She then taken by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors do her surgery to alter her nose.
