There isn’t currently a danger of an invasion by Belarus. The Ukrainian side will act appropriately if the threat materialises. According to a source, Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, made the pertinent remark at a national telethon.

“The Belarusian side is not currently posing a threat. This I can state with complete assurance. The situation is entirely under control, according to Budanov.

The Ukrainian intelligence is aware of Belarusian military drills, border security measures, and a wide range of other military-related activities.

“But, they are not aimed at conducting hostilities against Ukraine at this stage. When such thoughts arise, we will immediately know about them and will take appropriate actions,” Budanov stressed.

a reminder that Belarus began 10-day mobilisation drills with military commissariats in the Ukraine-bordering Gomel Region.
