In-camera session of parliament to be called about talks with TTP: Rana Sana

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that an in-camera session of parliament will be called to brief the members about the discussion of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS), which discussed the talks with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the situation in Afghanistan.

He along with Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said this while addressing a press conference after the meeting of the PCNS in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over the PCNS meeting, which was attended by the political and military leadership.

He further said that the talks with the Taliban would be conducted as per law and the Constitution of Pakistan.

The minister further said that the PCNS meeting was briefed about the talks with TTP, its complete background and the Afghanistan situation.
The minister said that the members of parliament would be taken in confidence, adding that the meeting of the PCNS would be held on regular basis.
Defending the new NAB law, he asserted that the recently passed law would benefit to Imran’s front men such as Farah Gogi and her Husband Ahsan and others.
He said that Imran Khan was frequently talking about the Khurram Dastgir’ statement these days.

He said that Imran Khan should be asked about the American conspiracy.
He asserted that what the NAB law was passed as it was approved by the then PTI government and recommendations by the court and suggestions of the civil society.
Rana further said that the new period of detention would also benefit the Imran’s people.
