According to city police, a taxi cab jumped a curb in Manhattan Monday afternoon and slammed into a crowd of people after mowing down a biker on Broadway in New York City.
Five people were badly struck, three of whom had critical injuries. One was a bicyclist, with whom the cab driver collided first while making a left turn onto the busy street. According to authorities, two females, however, pinned against a wall.
According to authorities, the driver was also taken to the hospital.
It happened at 1186 Broadway, a few blocks from Madison Square Park, New York City, and a popular hangout for New Yorkers and tourists alike. The police claimed to have obtained video evidence.
