Naik Zahid Ahmed was a resident of Charsadda.

Earlier, a Pakistan Army sepoy was martyred in the North Waziristan district a few weeks back.

The ISPR said terrorists fired at a military post in general area Datta Khel. Army troops initiated a prompt response and effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, it added.

However, Sepoy Hamid Ali, 28, a resident of Sargodha, embraced shahadat having fought gallantly.
