KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted hot and humid weather in Karachi on Saturday. Drizzling turns the city’s weather pleasant, Bol News Reported.
According to details, the minimum temperature of the city has been recorded at 29 C and the maximum temperature is expected to be 36 degrees Celsius. Whereas, air humidity was recorded at 79%.
As per met office reports, the weather will remain cloudy today with chances of rain. However, winds are blowing at the speed of 20 kilometers per hour.
However, the PMD report says that many parts of the country are expected to face more rains in the pre-monsoon season this year while the first spell of monsoon will rain in Karachi is expected from June 25. Department has also warned of urban flooding in major urban centres.

Notably, in some areas of the city like II Chundrigar Road, Saddar, Old City area motorcyclists faced minor accidents as a result of slippery roads
Earlier, heavy rains affected havoc in Lahore by killing at least three people and injuring three more. Wreaked havoc on Lahore’s power transmission infrastructure, tripping many feeders of the Lahore Electricity Supply Corporation (Lesco). For four hours, Mustafa Town and Education Town were without power. Flight operations at the airport were disrupted as was the electricity supply.
