Police reported Tuesday that a female theft suspect and a security guard were shot in the parking lot of a popular Las Vegas Strip souvenir shop, and the woman was apprehended.

Officer Larry Hadfield, a department spokesman, said that gunshots injured both the woman and the guard, that police were investigating the shooting, and that no other suspects were sought.
The two injured people’s conditions were not immediately known.
The woman was taken into custody, according to Hadfield.
