Director-General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that no conspiracy had been hatched against the PTI government by any foreign country.

He said that all services chiefs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) attended the National Security Committee meeting and they were of view that there was no foreign conspiracy against the previous government as there were no evidences in this regard.
He said this while giving an interview to a private TV channel on Tuesday.
The ISPR DG further said that headway on the front of economy was being made.
Talking about Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s visit to China, he observed that the visit would bear fruit soon, adding that China is all time-testing friend of Pakistan.
The DG ISPR said the military leadership believes that the former army chief Pervez Musharraf should return to Pakistan.
He further said the final call for the return of the ex-president, who resides in the United Arab Emirates, to Pakistan would be made by his family.

“We have contacted his family. Once his family responds, we can make the required arrangements,” the military’s spokesperson said as he prayed for Musharraf’s speedy recovery.
Musharraf, 78, is critically ill these days as he is suffering from a condition called amyloidosis.
