A meeting of the Provincial Cabinet was held today (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
CM Murad Ali said that steps have been taken for social security and economic stability in this budget. He added that they have settled this financial plan while thinking about poor people.

He said that this people-friendly budget has been prepared with the help of cabinet members and stakeholders. CM said that the Sindh cabinet approves the tax-free budget of Rs 1.71 trillion.
The meeting was attended by all the Provincial Ministers, Advisors, Special Assistants, Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and other concerned officers.

Provincial Minister Giyan Chand Essarani urges Cabinet to provide a special package for health facilities in Kohistan.
On the other hand, the Sindh budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 will be presented today by CM Murad Ali Shah.
As per sources privy to the matter, the budget will likely hold a 15% increase in salaries of the government employees and a 5-10% increase in the pensions.
Proposals about Special Development Packages and schemes for Karachi will also be part of Sindh budget.
