QUETTA: Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi on Monday meets with businessmen in Quetta Chamber of Commerce. He vowed to set up two regional and divisional ombudsman offices for public complaints, BOL News reports.
Regional Ombudsman Sarwar Brohi and provincial Ombudsman Nazar Baloch were present with Ejaz Ahmad, and other government officials were in the meeting. “We are working on the portal for complaints on social media. It will take time to upgrade the portal for online complaints,” Federal Ombudsman told BOL News.

“There are almost no industries in Balochistan and the federal departments are imposing huge amounts of taxes. The revenue generated by Balochistan is credited to Sindh. People doing Business in Chaman and Afghanistan are being imposed money laundering cases for no reason ”, President of the Quetta Chambers of Commerce Fida Dashti claimed.
“We are working on a very limited budget. In past, we received less than a hundred complaints, and now more than 2000 complaints are received. More than 95 percent of the ombudsman’s decisions have been implemented. I have been part of the escort motion bureau and am aware of the problems faced by the business community,” the federal ombudsman said.
The Federal ombudsman told the businessmen that he will visit Quetta every three months and look after the implementation of the decisions.
