ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday shared a message on social networking website where he said that in their government, the fund for tribal areas had been increased by three times to Rs131 billion.
He said that they had tripled the funding for the tribes to Rs 131 billion and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government has budgeted only Rs110 billion for the tribal districts. He added that “the imported government” has not kept any development funding for Internally Displaced People (IDPs).
The former prime minister said that the inadequate measures of the government for the tribes shows incompetence and ill intent of “the government of crooks”.

Previously, Imran Khan addressed the workers in 25 constituencies of the dissident members of the Punjab Assembly, BOL News reported.
The PTI chairman interviewed the members for upcoming elections, after addressing the public. On the recommendation of the provincial Parliamentary Board (POB), he interviewed three members from different constituencies. Senior members of the party are also directed for campaigning in the areas of the dissident members.
As per sources privy to the matter, senior-most leaders of PTI were assigned responsibilities in different constituencies.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on May 23 denotified 25 dissident MPAs of the PTI.
