Draymond Green finished the third quarter with five assists, four rebounds, and three steals. However, Green did not appear to be as focused as he is known to be, and to make matters worse, he had little impact on both ends of the court.

Green’s inefficiency compelled Warriors coach Steve Kerr to make a drastic move. Around five minutes into the fourth quarter, he benched Green in favour of Kevon Looney. The move was critical to Golden State’s ability to extend its lead, as the Warriors appeared more cohesive offensively and aggressive defensively.
With Green on the bench, the Warriors went on an 11-4 run to effectively win the game.
Green, on the either hand, was benched for about five minutes in the fourth quarter of a crucial Game 4. And, as one might expect, the hyper-competitive Green was not pleased with the benching.
