Meanwhile, Bol news reported quoting sources that the former chief of army staff’s health condition had improved and he would be shifted to his house upon recovery. The sources said his condition was far better than before now.

They said he was shifted to the American Hospital in Dubai after his condition got critical.

On May 30, in missing persons case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had directed the federal government to issue notices to former president Pervez Musharraf and all the successive chief executives, including former prime minister Imran Khan and sitting premier Shehbaz Sharif, for following an undeclared tacit approval of the policy regarding enforced disappearances.

Chief Justice IHC Justice Athar Minallah had given the last chance to the Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) to present arguments on constitutional violations in the cases and ordered to present missing persons in the court or justify the failure of the state.

In its order, the IHC had asked the government to serve notices to ex-president Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Imran Khan and incumbent premier Shehbaz Sharif and all other successors.
