The Pakistani entertainment industry has seen its ups and downs. It was our drama industry that propelled us to prominence. Many celebrities have emerged from the theatre profession, and they have represented Pakistan at numerous international global events. The year 2022 saw Pakistan’s industry reach unprecedented heights.

Humayun Saeed made headlines in Pakistan this year when it was confirmed that he will play Dr. Hasnat Khan, Lady Diana’s previous love interest, in the coveted Netflix series The Crown.

Fawad Khan disclosed to an Indian magazine that he is really a member of Ms. Marvel. We didn’t see Fawad Khan at the show’s premiere, but rumor has it that he will play Ms Marvel, Kamala Khan’s ancestor.

Ms Marvel also includes Mehwish Hayat. In the series, she will portray Aisha. The Tamgha e Imtiaz actress, on the other hand, has added another feather to her head with a major global Hollywood project that would see her represent Pakistan abroad.
