 Imran says present rulers have come into power only to end their corruption cases

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that the present rulers have come into power only to end their corruption cases and not to give relief to the masses.

He reiterated that he would give a call for ‘Haqiqi Azadi March’ in a few days, and asked the people to get ready.

He expressed these views while addressing the PTI’s National Council meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Imran maintained that efforts were being made to ensure the success of the incumbent government in the upcoming general elections as it was doing delimitations to benefit itself in the next polls.

He said the chief aim of elections is to elect competent people who can run Pakistan, adding the country’s history tells the country was governed by dictators and then by two families – Sharifs and Bhuttos.

Imran lambasted PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his silence over increase in fuel prices, recalling that Bilawal did a long march towards Islamabad when Rs4 per litre was increased by his government and now where is he now.

He further said Pakistan was confronting two biggest problems currently one is loadshedding and the other is a shortage of irrigation water. The country is facing the worst inflation in its history.
