BEIJING: A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Pishan County in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), Wednesday is a Chinese news agency.

The epicentre was tracked at 36.09 north latitude and 77.78 east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometres, according to the CENC.
