The incident occurred last Monday evening at the Gateway at Ellington housing complex in Harris County. When Houston Police arrived at the residences, they discovered a guy with a gunshot wound to the chest.
At the scene, the unnamed male was pronounced deceased.
The unidentified lady, according to police, shot the alleged stalker after he kicked through her front door. According to SBG San Antonio, the woman claimed to police she had just moved to get away from the man.

Other persons were inside the house at the time of the occurrence.
