Giving heavy weaponry isn’t a one-time situation, the West “must comprehend.”

  • Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar warned that Western partners “must understand”; that sending heavy equipment to Ukraine “is not a one-time gift,” but must be continued until “winning.”
  • “Weapons have started to arrive, but it is not enough to give the Russian army a really powerful rebuff,” Maliar added.
  • “Given that we have already entered a protracted battle, we will always require assistance.” The West must see that this is not a one-time assistance, but rather a path to victory.”
