Platinum Jubilee beacons were lit at Coutts bank in central London this evening, on the first day of the celebrations.
To commemorate the Jubilee, over 3,000 towns, villages, and cities across the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and UK Overseas Territories, as well as the capital cities of Commonwealth countries, are lighting beacons.
