According to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a military action will be launched; against two cities in northern Syria controlled by the SDF.

In a forthcoming military action, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that Turkey will target Kurdish armed organisations in two northern Syrian cities.
“We’re moving one step closer to constructing a 30-kilometer security zone along our southern border. “We will clear terrorists from Tal Rifaat and Manbij,” he said at a gathering of his ruling party in parliament.
“Bit by step,” Erdogan added, Turkish military would advance into neighbouring territories.
The Syrian Kurdish armed force, the People’s Protection Units, controls the two cities west of the Euphrates River (YPG).
