Egypt’s cabinet declares a ban on third-party wheat trading until the end of August, barring any sales to anybody other than the government.

After the Ukraine war cut it off from much of the Black Sea wheat it relied on, Cairo, one of the world’s largest wheat importers, is aiming for 6 million tons of local wheat this year.
