FIFA Trophy Tour 2022 organizers were forced to transfer the event to Lahore due to political turmoil in Islamabad.
The dates of the FIFA Trophy Tour have not altered, according to a FIFA official. The venue has switched from Islamabad to Lahore.
“The trophy will come in Lahore on June 7, 2022, and it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to experience football’s most prestigious prize up close,” organizers stated.

Originally, the event was supposed to take place in Islamabad. However, due to current political events in the federal capital, the event had to be rescheduled.
The trophy will be accompanied to Pakistan by Christian Karembeu, a former World Cup winner from France.
The trophy will come from Uzbekistan to Pakistan and will stay for one day.
Following a welcoming ceremony at the airport, an event for stakeholders and sponsors will take place in the afternoon, followed by a public concert in the evening.
The FIFA World Cup trophy is visiting Pakistan for the second time. Before the 2018 World Cup, the country was also a stop on the trophy tour.
