Sheriff Brian Miller of Mecosta County said deputies responding to reports of shots fired found the mother, children, and wounded man in a home near Big Rapids in Austin Township on Friday afternoon.

According to a sheriff in central Michigan, a woman and her three small children were shot to death; and the accused gunman – her husband — was hospitalised with a gunshot wound to the head.
