The president’s visit is his second in as many weeks to the scene of a mass shooting.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Sunday, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will go to Uvalde, Texas, to meet with families of those killed in a horrific shooting at a local elementary school earlier this week.
According to the White House, Biden will meet with local politicians and religious leaders, as well as victims’ families, to demonstrate solidarity for a community reeling from tragedy. Biden will be visiting the scene of a horrific shooting for the second time in as many weeks. On May 17, Biden travelled to Buffalo, New York, to meet with community leaders and the relatives of those killed in a racially motivated mass shooting at a grocery store there.
