The trial for Johnny Depp’s defamation action against his ex-wife Amber Heard is reaching its conclusion. After attorneys for both parties made their final statements on Friday, the judge handed the matter over to the jury for deliberate.

On Saturday, a video surfaced showing Johnny smiling as he walked out of the courthouse, meeting and shaking hands with everyone in attendance, from police officers to photographers.

Because of the case’s high notoriety, it has sparked a lot of public curiosity. Fans flood the courthouse in Virginia where the trial is taking place every day. Several videos of supporters applauding for Johnny have surfaced in recent weeks.

Amber and Johnny were spotted leaving the courthouse following Friday’s hearing, according to a video published by Law & Crime Network on Saturday. When Johnny departs the courthouse in the video, the waiting fans erupt in applause. The actor is seen praising and shaking the hands of all security officers present. He smiles as he removes something from his pocket and displays it to them.

The actor then turns to the cameraman, who is capturing the scene, and shakes his hand before adding, “See you down the road!”  He then enters the car and gestures to the supporters before driving away, saluting the camera.

Johnny has sued Amber for $50 million, claiming she defamed him in a Washington Post op-ed in 2018 when she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse. Even though Amber did not identify Johnny, his lawyers claim that the suggestion harmed his career. Amber was also allegedly abusive to him during their marriage, according to him.
