Federal Minister of Railways Sheikh Rasheed expressed his sadness over the accident that happened at Rohri.
Sheikh Rasheed explained that the accident took place because the truck driver did not go through flyovers.
He also said that Pakistani railways were not involved in the accident. The provincial government has to make gateways.
Sheikh Rasheed said while addressing a press conference that fares of AC business class trains will be reduced for 2 months from 9th March. He also said that all railway crossings will be closed from Karachi to Peshawar. ML 1 will be signed from 10th May.
In addition to this, he also assured that they will remove the railway from the loss and will make it profitable in 5 years. Apart from that, he informed us that coaches are too old. New trains are being introduced.
He said that all railway crossings will be closed then it will be a new railway. Royal palm’s tender will be issued according to the dates given by the Supreme Court.
On the other hand, Sheikh Rasheed said that the Afghan agreement is an achievement of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
While talking about the Delhi riots, Sheikh Rasheed said that the holy of bloodshed is being played in India.
Pakistan Express collides with passenger coach, 19 killed
At least Nineteen people lost their lives and multiple sustained injuries as Pakistan Express collided with a passenger bus at a railway crossing Kandhara Phatak near Rohri railway station.
Police and rescue teams reached at the scene immediately and relief activities are underway, affected people were shifted to the hospital.
