Following the abrupt and terrible passing of Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta, his peers have taken to the internet to express their condolences. While filming for his forthcoming part in Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic, the actor fell tragically in his sleep on May 26. Following the announcement, Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro, and Seth Rogan expressed their deep grief.
Lopez shared a series of flashback images with the actor on Instagram, along with a caption, “Ray was my partner in crime on Shades of Blue … the first thing that comes to mind is he was so kind to my children. Ray was the epitome of a tough guy who was all mushy on the inside … I guess that’s what made him such a compelling actor to watch. The original Goodfella.”
She went on to say how thrilling and inspirational it was for her to work on Shades of Blue alongside Liotta. She added this at the end of her lengthy post, “We lost a great today … RIP RAY … it’s so sad to lose you what seems way to soon … I will remember you always. Sending so much love and strength to your daughter Karsen, your family and all your loved ones.”

De Niro expressed his sorrow at the loss of his Goodfellas co-star in a statement to ET, saying, “I was very saddened to learn of Ray’s passing. He is way too way young to have left us. May he Rest in Peace.,” After receiving the depressing news, Seth Rogan rushed to Twitter to pull together his thoughts and express his feelings.
