Pak vs WI: ODI series likely to be played in Rawalpindi

Following the end of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protracted march, the ODI series between Pakistan and the West Indies is expected to take place as planned at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

According to insiders, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is now expecting a positive response from the government. Officials from the board have been in contact with the government since a decision on the series’ host location must be made this week in order to finish the logistics on time.

The Pakistani team’s training camp will begin on June 1, with the West Indies arriving on June 5.

After the political crisis in the capital, Islamabad, Multan was kept as a backup location.

The three-match ODI series is set to take place at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from June 8 to 12. The matches are part of the International Cricket Council’s World Cup Super League.
