Protesters set police prisoners’ van on fire in Karachi

The protestors have set a police prisoners’ van on fire in Numaish Chaurangi, Karachi.

A large number of PTI workers and supporters tried to reach the Chaurangi and some of the workers succeeded to gather there but the police used tear gas and resort straight and aerial firing to disperse the enraged crowd.

Bol TV channel reported that a big number of workers have vowed to reach the Numaish Chaurangi and register their protest on the call of their leader Imran Khan, adding that they would stage a sit-in till the acceptance of their demands.

Meanwhile, the federal government has decided to suspend internet services across the country in view of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march on Wednesday.

According to Bol TV, The higher authorities have issued instructions to two big internet companies to suspend the internet services across the country.

It was learnt that the internet services of Transworld were closed while the government is preparing to suspend PIE internet service as well. Consumers will face severe difficulties following the closure of internet services.
