Texas shooting

A shooter opened fire at a Texas elementary school, killing 19 students and two instructors.

On Tuesday, the attack occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, some 80 miles west of San Antonio.

After shooting his grandma, Salvador Ramos, 18, entered the school with a pistol and maybe a rifle.

He was shot dead by police following America’s bloodiest school shooting in nearly a decade.
The teachers slain in the incident have been identified as Eva Mireles and Irma Garcia.

Ms Mireles has a kid, was married to a cop, and taught for 17 years, according to the school’s website.

Uziyah Garcia, Xavier Javier Lopez, Amerie Jo Garza, and Annabelle Guadalupe Rodriguez, all ten years old, were among those slain.

Lisa Garza, 54, of Arlington, Texas, was devastated by the loss of her cousin Xavier, who had been looking forward to a summer of swimming.

“He was simply a wonderful 10-year-old young child, just enjoying life, not knowing that this tragedy would come today,” she explained.

“He was quite effervescent and enjoyed dancing with his siblings and mother.”

“My little darling is now flying high with the angels above,” Amerie Jo’s father, Angel, said on Facebook.

“Do not take a second for granted. Hug your loved ones. Tell them how much you adore them. Amerie jo, I adore you. Keep an eye on your little brother for me.”

According to a San Antonio hospital, a 10-year-old girl and a 66-year-old lady are in serious condition, while two other girls, ages nine and ten, are in fair and excellent health, respectively.

According to Texas Senator Roland Gutierrez, the shooter shot his grandmother before entering the school, although there are contradictory accounts on whether she survived.
