After completing an MRI scan, Hollywood actor Jason Momoa is said to be well.

Prior to this, the ‘Aquaman’ star stirred outrage among his fans and peers when he posted a shirtless photo of himself on Instagram during a recent hospital visit, according to a news site.

Thankfully, a source has confirmed to People magazine that Jason is ‘OK’ and that the scan was performed as a “precaution.” The 42-year-old actor claimed he was feeling “thankful” by posting the photo on Instagram.

He wrote in the caption, “You got to break some eggs to make an omelette. Aloha J. Thankful for my ohana and friends.”

Fans and celebrity pals expressed their concern, with his ‘Justice League’ cast mate Gal Gadot responding, “Oh no!” “”Oh no!” added actor Pablo Schreiber. Are you okay, dude?” Jason underwent a hernia procedure on March 27, only one day before attending the Academy Awards, thus the hospital visit follows just a few weeks later.

He stated this on the red carpet before the show, “I had surgery yesterday. I had a hernia surgery yesterday.”

He joked when asked why he needed the surgery, “Throwing bodies around. I’m getting old, bro. It ain’t that CinemaCon from 2016, you know what I’m saying?”

Meanwhile, five months after parting from wife Lisa Bonet, the actor is apparently seeing actress Eiza Gonzalez, albeit their relationship isn’t’serious’ at the moment. He said at the time: “It was crazy. Have a conversation with a woman about her country, I was in England doing ‘Aquaman 2 (a.k.a Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom)’. Everyone is like, ‘Are you dating?’ No, no, it was chivalry, the woman was cold.”

Asked if they are dating, he said, “Absolutely not, not together. She is very nice, I was being very nice, just being a gentleman. Now, I am not giving my coat to anyone,” Last month, Jason debunked rumours that he was dating Kate Beckinsale by handing her his jacket to wear to the Vanity Fair Academy Awards after party.
