Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin revealed Monday that 20 countries have pledged increased security support to Ukraine, including more high-tech weapons that Ukraine has requested.

After a virtual discussion with more than 40 foreign ministries and defence chiefs, Austin told reporters, “We’ve gained a sharper, common picture of Ukraine’s priority requirements and the situation on the battlefield.”
According to Austin, many countries are providing essential artillery ammunition, coastal defence systems, tanks, and other armoured equipment, while others have pledged to train Ukrainian troops.
