The high-level meeting on the law and order situation was chaired by the Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz on Tuesday.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has started a countrywide protest against the government for arresting their leaders without any arrest warrants.
The protests have turned out to be violent in a few places. This has raised concerns for the Chief Minister and the Institutions of Punjab.
We will not let anyone disrupt the daily routine of the public, says the Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz.
“We will make sure that rule laws will be followed at all cost in the province”, CM Hamza Shahbaz.
Hamza affirms that will not let anyone take the law by their hands, and indiscriminate actions will be taken against the terrorists.
“The Police and security forces will take every possible action for the protection of life and property”, Hamza Shahbaz added.
“Politics must be kept aside, and the interest of the state should be prioritized. We will take every step for Pakistan.”
Sardar Awais Leghari, Atta Ullah Tarrar, Chief Secretary, IG Punjab, Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, CCPO Lahore, and the relevant authorities were present at the meeting.
