With JugJugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor is set to make her comeback. One of the most eagerly awaited films of 2022 is Raj A Mehta’s family comedy. In the film, Neetu Kapoor will be featured with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani.
The legendary actress most recently appeared in the 2013 film Besharam, starring the late actor, her husband Rishi Kapoor, and their son Ranbir Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor expressed her excitement about returning to the big screen at the trailer event yesterday, saying that Rishi Kapoor would be ecstatic for her.
She expressed gratitude to Karan Johar, Raj A Mehta, and the entire ensemble for their help. She went on to say that the film holds a special place in her heart and that she is proud of it.
“I can’t be thankful to anyone more than you, Karan,” Neetu Kapoor continued. You’re the one who pushed me, told me that I have got to work. That has been the best decision for me. I’m sure he (Rishi) is going to be extremely happy. This movie is always going to be special because I’m coming back to Hindi films.”
“It’s a narrative of two couples from various generations, intertwined around the challenges post marriage,” a source told Pinkvilla regarding the film. “The premise deftly bridges the generation gap and offers a novel perspective on love, but with plenty of humour. JugJugg Jeeyo is more about families and the love that exists between a married son and his father and mother, who are played by Anil and Neetu.” JugJugg Jeeyo will be released in theatres on June 24 this year.
