Following the Supreme Committee’s recent judgement, Oman has announced the lifting of all COVID-19 limitations and has issued a new travel alert.
Following the recommendations of the Supreme Committee dealing with the pandemic, the Sultanate’s civil aviation authority suspended all COVID-19 preventative measures and procedures in the sector, according to the notification.
The new order was announced by the Sultanate to all passengers and aircraft operators.
Saudi Arabia had previously eliminated significant COVID restrictions for passengers travelling to the Kingdom in March, but medical insurance would still be required.
Passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia would no longer be needed to undergo a PCR test or a quarantine period, according to a notification issued by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia.
The prohibition on wearing masks in public places has been abolished, albeit travellers must still have medical insurance.
It’s worth noting that Saudi Arabia has lifted all Covid-19 limitations in the country, including social distance and the wearing of masks outside.
