Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has accused Russia of obstructing the sale of 22 million tonnes of food products; warning that unless its ports are opened, many countries may face famine.

According to the president’s office, Zelensky said during a meeting with the media following talks with Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa in Kyiv; he said that “the world community must help Ukraine unblock seaports; or else the energy crisis will be followed by a food crisis, and many more countries will face it.”
