From Sunday, Lithuania will no longer import any Russian energy supplies, including oil, electricity, and natural gas.

The country’s Ministry of Energy announced on Friday that the pan-European power exchange Nord Pool had chosen to stop trading Russian electricity with its sole importer in the Baltic States, Russian utility Inter RAO, thereby ending the country’s import of Russian energy.
“Not only is it a significant step forward for Lithuania in its quest for energy independence, but it also shows our sympathy with Ukraine,” Lithuanian Energy Minister Dainius Kreivys said. “We must no longer fund the Russian war machine.”
