Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan reminds NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that they will not be welcomed into the alliance, until Sweden and Finland cooperate in the fight against terrorism and other concerns.
Erdogan backed NATO’s open door policy, according to a presidential statement.
Following the call, Mr. Stoltenberg tweeted that all allies’ security concerns must be addressed, and that negotiations to find a solution must continue.
